Kilkenny, the stag party mecca of Ireland, is home to Ireland's most popular ale - Smithwicks. Now you and your group of merry men can experience the textures, tastes and smells of the raw materials involved in creating the perfect pint of ale. The Smithwicks Experience Kilkenny opened its doors in July 2014 and has been a great stag party activity in Kilkenny for those groups who want to do something slightly different yet really interesting without having to break a sweat or get a bus.
The Smithwicks Experience Kilkenny is housed in a restored Victorian brewing building in the centre of Kilkenny city. It is a multi-sensory experience that brings the Smithwick's brewing process to life. You and the rest of the stag group will be brought on a journey through the medieval origins of the onsite brewing to the arrival of John Smithwick in the 1700's and all the way up to the present day.
